Seedy Sunday would not happen without the volunteer organising committee. Thank you for all your time, energy and good spirit.
Here are some vacant positions
Stalls Manager
We’re putting on a full event again next year, so need an event manager to run the commercial horticultural stalls, the local community and charity stalls in a new venue. Responsible for the stall application and booking process, stallholder communications, finalising the room plans and overseeing those areas on the day.
Marketing/ Communications
Help implement the communications plan, to make more of our social media and communication channels and monitor them.
We feed our content through to other key local gardening/ growing orgs and allotment groups. We have set points in the event calendar – poster launch, new venue information, seed saving demos, seed packing, guest speakers and calls for volunteers in the run up to the event
Children’s Activities
Put together a programme of childrens activities in the new venue, which offers indoor and outdoor space. Engage an appropriate activity provider and recommend relevant activity materials.
In addition we have 40+ volunteers helping to make the day run smoothly. If you would like to become a volunteer for Seedy Sunday 2023 and beyond, then sign up on the website or at the Info Desk on the day.
